Smilow Cancer Hospital
In collaboration with Mason Inc. we developed the broadcast face of the brand. Starting with the original kernel of “Closer to Free” (from Cancer). We helped create a multi-year campaign to showcase the success of the Smilow practice. This effort began with a “scenario-based” lifestyle music video, and then grew to a guerilla filming of a flash mob. The third concept created a spot out filming the creation of a mural. Smilow is now the leading cancer hospital in the region.
Through broadcast spots we’ve helped elevate the brand over the past 4 years to compete with Blue Cross, United Health Care, and Tufts. The customer’s goal was to change the public’s perception as a company solely for Medicaid recipients. The campaign launched as they entered the commercial market. With the help of this multi year campaign they have gained market share in the commercial space while being able to maintain their traditional customer base.
